Summmer camp is well underway at the ECDC! I began teaching summer camp this week, but found some pictures on the camera of last week's adventures and had to include them! We began our Summer Road Trip with a flight to Africa! First things first, each week we grab our passports and take them to the counter to have Ms. Ashley stamp them so we can get started!
We learned some things about traditional African clothing and food.
We learned about the Nile River and then braved it in a small boat!
The kids loved discussing the wild animals of the African savannah and they even had a safari jeep to roam around in.
We learned about some of the most famous wonders of Africa...and recreated them on a much, much smaller scale!
We made some binoculars and spears for protection on our upcoming lion hunt.
Then we were ready to go!
Luckily, we returned safely and are ready for our next adventure. We are hopping a jet plane to London, England to discover Brittish customs and check out the Summer Olympic Games. See you there!
